Portable instructions
A Skill is a reusable set of instructions and supporting files that tells an Agent how to perform a specific kind of work. It carries the workflow into the new Agent instead of making you rebuild it.
SKILL.md defines the purpose, process, boundaries, and expected output for the work.
A package can include reference files, templates, scripts, and other resources required by the workflow.
Keep the capability as a package you can inspect, update, and use again instead of locking it inside one prompt.

Upload a Skill
Best when you already have a tested Skill, a downloaded package, or a SKILL.md file you want to keep intact.
Accepted formats: .zip, .skill, and .md. A ZIP can contain one top-level Skill folder. Maximum package size: 10 MB.
Describe the outcome
Best when you know what the Agent should accomplish but do not have the instructions or workflow written yet.
No code or workflow diagram is required. Describe the task in plain language.
Before you create
The creation flow keeps the decisions small and makes the destination explicit before anything starts running.
Only your account can access the Agent after creation. Visibility can be managed later.
